The International Cold Forging Group (ICFG) is an international association funded in 1967 by a group of experts in cold forging that promoted and established international contacts and co-operations in the field of cold forging. These pioneers, members of primary importance cold forging companies and of the Institution for Production Engineering Research (CIRP), were initially supported by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Mission
The objective of the International Cold Forging Group is to promulgate the economic advancement of cold forging:
- by encouraging and co-ordinating national and international co-operation,
- by stimulating research,
- by disseminating knowledge of relevant processes and sciences.
