Welcome to the 55th Plenary Meeting
The 55th ICFG Plenary Meeting will be held in Milan, Italy, from 11 to 14 September 2022, organized by University of Padova. We are delighted to invite all the ICFG members and their guests in the hearth of cold forging in Italy, which hosts some of the major worldwide industrial players in the field.
After the pandemic that have changed the world in the last two years affecting our societies and economies, the meeting will address the topic “Restart from innovation” to focus on the answers that cold forging can give to the new needs and societal trends.
We are looking to meeting you at ICFG Plenary Meeting.
For automotive the trends of cold forging will be determined by the cost reduction, CO2 emissions and safety
“If the theoretical potential in relation to radial loadability could be implemented into a tool design in cold forging press, the strip winding technology could get a great future.” A few years later, it was introduced in cold forging by STRECON.
“Looking at the growing digitalization, we can feel the enormous potential for cold forging”.
COVID-19 UPDATE
ICFG Plenary meeting is going to be held in presence and the Organizing Committee is working for a safe and comfortable meeting.
The COVID situation is daily monitored by the Ministry of Health and the updated data on the pandemic can be found here. The rules for entry into Italy are continuously updated on the basis of the pandemic evolution. Since the 1st June 2022 the green pass is no more required to enter in Italy from EU Member States and other foreign countries. All the information can be found at this link.
